Ingredients

  • 170 g Sirloin steak
  • 150 g Brown rice, cooked
  • 150 g Broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. If not already cooked, prepare brown rice according to package instructions.
  2. Pat the sirloin steak dry and season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the steak for 3-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
  4. While the steak cooks, steam or lightly boil the broccoli florets until tender-crisp (about 3-5 minutes).
  5. Remove steak from skillet and let rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
